Rustlers Announce AFC FYLDE Sponsorship

RUSTLERS PARTNERS WITH AFC FYLDE TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Thousands of secondary school pupils will benefit from a new partnership between Rustlers and AFC Fylde, one of the UK’s most progressive non-league football clubs. The collaboration between the UK’s No.1 micro-snacking brand and the AFC Fylde Community Foundation aims to increase participation in physical activity for 16 – 24 year olds. The Foundation is part of AFC Fylde and aims to educate, motivate and inspire future generations to build better communities for all.

Over the next 12 months, coaches from the Foundation will deliver fun activity sessions, covering a range of sports from football and cricket to athletics and netball in schools, colleges and youth clubs. The partnership is supported by Rustlers’ sponsorship of AFC Fylde’s First Team Shorts making the brand a senior commercial partner of the club. Alongside the shorts sponsorship Rustlers will also be visible on perimeter boarding.

Adrian Lawlor, Marketing and Business Development Director at Rustlers says:
“We’re committed to supporting the concept of young people combining sport and education and are delighted to be working with AFC Fylde on their forward-thinking campaign.”

Tom Hutton, director of community development at the AFC Fylde Community Foundation, said: “When it comes to making a difference to the lives of young people, AFC Fylde Community Foundation is truly leading the way. Thanks to the support of Rustlers, we’ll be able to engage with even more children and young adults than ever before, improving their health and wellbeing through physical activity.”

The move follows the announcement earlier this year that Rustlers has teamed up with the Football Association Ireland (FAI) to become an Official Sponsor of the Republic of Ireland team and the new title sponsor of the FAI’s Colleges and Universities football competitions.
