Grab food to go profits with Kepak’s HOT new food concept

As dayparts continue to blur and snacking soars, Kepak is launching its new Goode & Tucker range in response to the growing demand from customers for hot grab-and-go options. The new range launches today (8 November 2018) at the IGD Food To Go Conference.

As a market leader in foodservice and the chilled convenience category, Kepak is bringing its experience and expertise to the food-to-go market with a ‘Foodvenience’ concept that blurs the lines between foodservice and retail.

The unique ‘plug and play’ hot convenience unit and product range has been developed to tap into market and consumer trends to cater for the growing demand of quick, hot, tasty and trend-led food solutions.

Available to convenience and forecourts stores across the UK & IRL, the Goode & Tucker range caters for the most important food-to-go occasions, including breakfast, lunch and snacking. The range includes hot food-to-go products that reflect the busy lives of today’s consumers, with something for everyone, throughout the day and night including a Bacon & Egg Breakfast Muffin, Cheeseburger, Chicken & Pesto Panini and Sweet Potato & Mozzarella Wrap.

The innovative new all-in-one solution also includes equipment and marketing collateral for retailers to help them drive footfall, maximise space and reduce the labour cost traditionally associated with food-to-go counters.

Commenting on the new food-to-go concept, Bláthnaid Ní Fhátharta, Marketing Director for Foodservice & Corporate Communications at Kepak said: “Exhibiting at IGD Food To Go is the perfect opportunity for Goode & Tucker to mark its entrance into the food-to-go arena”.

“With the sector expected to be worth £22.8bn by 2022*, operators who are currently working without a grab and go offering could be missing a significant revenue stream. It’s a highly competitive market and the Kepak food-to-go team looks forward to working with retailers to help them compete with high-street foodservice operators, generate additional footfall and increase food spend in their store.”

The unit will be available to order in 2019. Retailers interested in the concept should register their interest at hello@goodeandtucker.com
