I’m currently involved in International sales to the Philippines and Africa. This would involve a good amount of time spent traveling to these markets and trade fairs, customer visits, factories, etc. It has allowed me to gain a greater understanding of the products and markets in which we deal and also allowed me to travel to many countries I otherwise would not have been able to visit. We source product from Kepak Red Meat factories across Ireland and the UK, so a good amount of time is spent traveling to these factories liaising with the factory staff and checking on product quality, etc. It’s a great way to see the full scope of the business.
