What qualifications and careers are available in Food Manufacturing?
There are many apprenticeship options available in Food Manufacturing such as food & drink operative, lean manufacturing, team leadership, food technologist and health & safety. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved the following qualifications as a minimum:
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Level 2 Health and Safety
- Functional Skills in Math and English
- Specific technical skills relating to your chosen apprenticeship such as:
- Level 2 /SCQF 5 Food and Drink Operative
- Level 2 Lean Manufacturing
- Level 3 /SCQF 6 Food and Drink Operative
- Level 3 Team Leader
- Level 3 Food Technologist
- Level 3 Learning Mentor
- Level 3 /SCQF7 Management
- Additional options available based on development needs
