An engineering apprenticeship is a gateway to a dynamic career.

Kepak offer the opportunity to train as a Mechatronics Technician who works as an electrical, mechanical, and electronics systems technician in industrial plants. The job includes work in automation and robotics in modern manufacturing processes. Work processes include installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment/devices.

QUALIFICATIONS

What qualifications will I gain from an apprenticeship in engineering?

Engineering Mechatronics is a formal qualification and takes approximately 4 years to complete. At the end of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Mechatronics (Maintenance technician).

Qualifications included in this apprenticeship:

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Engineering Technician – Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Pathway
  • Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Technical Knowledge)
  • Level 2 Award for Foundation Phase Gateway Assessment; Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Technical Knowledge)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – Mechantronics Maintenance Technician (Development Competence)
  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
  • Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths (if required)
