In a society that is cash rich and time poor Kepak identified a market niche for high quality, precooked meats as “the centre piece” to any meal. These products needed to be convenient and at the same time still allow the consumer to participate in the preparation of the meal itself. It was out of this need that the concept of ‘Global Cuisine’ was born.

In keeping with our track record in innovation, Kepak, through extensive market research, identified and developed a range of high quality convenient meal centre solutions, each slow cooked to ensure tenderness and succulence. The result is a product that can be microwaved in approximately 7 minutes or reheated in an oven in 20 minutes whilst you prepare  fresh vegetables, potatoes or pasta.

The concept includes three sub categories of products under the Global Cuisine brand. The first, “Global Cuisine Ready Roast” is a range of precooked, Beef , Chicken, Pork and Lamb joints in gravy; the second “Global Cuisine Tender Cook” includes portion controlled meats such as Chicken Breasts with Chip Shop Curry Sauce, Beef Casserole and Italian Meatballs and, finally, the third “Global Cuisine Summer Eating” is a mini range of products such as Pork Ribs, Pork Loin Steaks and the innovative BBQ Beef Ribs perfect for al fresco dining. All products are chilled with at least 3 weeks shelf life for extra convenience. Today Global Cuisine is the number 1 'Heat and Serve' brand in the UK and Ireland.
